He was predeceased by: his father Danny Kerns. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Kerns (Nass); his siblings, Michael (Jan Doiel) and Michelle Purvis (Geoff Anderson); his partner Kim Fielder; and his aunt Norma Jean Rose. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Faith Lutheran Church (837 Chestnut Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
Memorials may be given to the family to be established at a later date.
