He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fast and Iona Fast (Kuhlman); his brother Roger Fast; and his former wife Pamela Fast. He is survived by: his son Derek; his daughter-in-law Kenzie Fast; and his grandchildren, Griffin Fast and Lainey Fast.

Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
