It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard L. Reimer of Hastings, Nebraska, born in Beatrice, Nebraska, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Alice Zimmerman Reimer and William Reimer; his brother James; his brother-in-law Randy Goertz; his parents-in-law, Dan and Florence Shank; his sister Marian (Shank); and his brother-in-law Bob Hancox.

He is survived by : his wife Judy Reimer; his sons, Richard Anthony Reimer (Karen), Matt Reimer (Trish) and Curtis Reimer (Kathy); his grandchildren, Elly Reimer, Hannah Turner (Collin), Betsy Reimer (Landon Dubas), Emmy Reimer, Ben Reimer (Hannah), Will Reimer (Abbie), Sam Reimer (Camilla) and Julia Reimer; and his sister Janice Goertz Allan (Ken).

Memorials may be given to Grace United Methodist Church, Hastings Habitat for Humanity, and Hastings Public School Foundation.
