He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Smart (Pruden); his children, Gary Brooks, Julee Desel (Castle Rock), Phil and Barb Kubes; and his grandchildren, Derek Brooks, Wyatt, Audrey Brooks, Sam Desel and Katie Desel.
Memorials may be given to St. Michael's Catholic Church Endowment Fund or Special Children's Fund.
