She was predeceased by: her parents, Everett Forbes and Carrie Forbes (Hiett); her siblings, June Davis and Don Forbes; her children, Shelly and Steve; and her grandson Tyson.
She is survived by: her husband Dale Spilinek of Hastings; her sons, Scott (Cindy) of Weeping Water, Mike (Denise) of Grand Island and Chris (Elizabeth) of Hastings; her grandchildren, Linsday (Jeff), Jeremy (Lisa), Megan (Ryan), Brad (Mel), Geoff (Amanda), Drew (Kathleen), Melanie (Matt), Justin (Jessica), Caitlin (Steven), Mason (Annmarie), Collin (Emma) and Sarah (Isaac); and her brother Jim of Palmer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Sally requested memorials be given to the First United Methodist Church of Hastings and Rosehill Cemetery in Palmer, Nebraska.
