He was predeceased by: his father Orville Colvin (Ike); his stepfather Ryan Bloomquist; his father-in-law Rodger Johnson; and his sister-in-law Sarah Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Johnson; his children, Stephanie Miller (Chad) of St Paul, NE and Tyler Colvin (Allison) of Columbus, NE; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Willa, Cecelia Miller, Kya, Rylan, Karsyn and Trey Colvin; his mother Janice Bloomquist; his sister Paula Keehr (Mark); and his mother-in-law Mary Johnson of Yankton, SD. He is also survived by brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nieces and nephews, many, many friends.

Memorials may be given to the First United Methodist Church or to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
