It is with sadness that the passing of Shawn L. Hansen of Hastings, Nebraska is shared. Shawn, born on March 26, 1968, passed away on September 11, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hansen and Lois Hansen (Neal). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert (Mary Hansen) and Melia Hansen Hesse; and his nieces and nephews, Melody, Donny Exline, Melissa, Skip Howard, Jason Stanley, Jeremy, Tatum Hansen and Josh Hansen. He is also survived by twelve great-nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Livingston Butler Volland Funeral Home & Cremation Center (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Butler Volland Chapel (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
Memorials may be given to the Hastings Rural Fire Department.
