Shirley Steen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Steen of Hastings, Nebraska, who passed away on October 28, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Frederick and Zeta Arvilla Banks (Foutz); her siblings, John Banks (Betty), Betty Parks (Ivan) and Frederick Banks (Joan); her brothers-in-law, Calvin Steen and Delano Steen; her son Mark Steen; and her grandchildren, Colby Minnick, Colt Minnick and Eliza Bakirane.

She is survived by : her husband Herbert Steen; her daughters, Lydia Esther (Kurt) of Norfolk, Lois Rebecca (William) of Inavale, Nebraska and Elizabeth Shipman (Ron) of Fairfield; her sisters-in-law, Ruth Steen and Kathy Steen Gordon; and her grandchildren, Jonathan Shipman, Jennifer Shipman, Tammi Evans (Brad), Adam Shaw (Erica), Maria Borland (Steve), Sarah Hansen (Greg), Cory Minnick, Cody Minnick, Mark Jordan Steen and Katie Barber (Kenneth). She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
