Though Thomas may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Barry and Dorothy Barry (Bird). He is survived by: his wife Deanne James; his children, Sue Barry of Hastings, Jeff Barry (Debra) of Hastings and Scott Barry of Clarksville, TN; and his sister Roseanne Trindle (Jack) of Omaha, Nebraska. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, three nephews, one niece, two great nephews, and nine great nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butler Volland Chapel (1225 N Elm Ave, Hastings, NE 68901). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family to be determined at a later date.
