He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Nelson (Kuhnke) and Willard Nelson; his daughter Lori Ann; his brothers, Dale and Warren; his niece Mary Nelson Bauer; and his nephew Craig Crone.
He is survived by: his wife Ila Frieden; and his daughter Linda. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First St. Paul's Lutheran Church (501 N Burlington Ave, Hastings, NE 68901).
