He was predeceased by : his parents, Oliver Bjugstad and Marie Bjugstad (Vasfaret); his son Kenneth Bjugstad; his son-in-law Richard Lundquist; and his siblings, Harland Bjugstad, Twylla Colleran and LeRoy Bjugstad.

He is survived by : his wife Adelle Bjugstad; his children, Vicki Perrie (James), Kelley Bjugstad and Betty Lundquist; and his grandchildren, Michael Perrie, Eric Perrie, Christopher Lundquist, Justin Griffiths, Jessica Manka and Elaine Reiners.

Memorials may be directed to his family for a later designation.
