He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Vodicka and Jennie Kutschara Vodicka; and his parents-in-law, Tommie and Marie McKinnon. He is survived by: his wife Glenna (McKinnon); his children, Joseph Vodicka St (Liz) and Jan (Greg); his grandchildren, Alisha Vodicka of Aurora, CO., Brad Vodicka Cherry (Cammie), Andrew, Courtney Manning (Ryan) of Loveland, CO., Benjamin Etuk (Louise) and Jon Etuk of Espanola, NM.; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Brady, Hays, Nella, Tate Vodicka, Maliyah Vodicka, Miles Manning, Ashley Romero, Bennie, Abigail Etuk, Sydnee, Emma and Jonas Etuk; his daughter Wendy Etuk; his son-in-law Ben Etuk; his sister Ann Heinen; his nephew John Heinen; and his brother-in-law Glenn McKinnon.

Donations in lieu of flowers. A memorial has been established for Pioneer Manor Nursing Home or the Rushville Ambulance fund.
