He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Kampbell and Elizabeth Kampbell (Zitterkopf); his children, Janet, Terry and Larry; his siblings, Donald, Kenneth, Robert, David, Eldora Schumacher, Evelyn Jensen, Barbara Munger and Rebecca Morriss; his siblings-in-law, Darlene Kampbell, Donna Kampbell, Glen Munger, Kenneth Luce, Harlan Erickson and Gary Morriss; and his nephews, Shane Morriss and Henry Kampbell.
He is survived by: his wife Eloise J. Forsstrom; his daughter Amy (Kevin Schneider); his grandchildren, Carli of Columbus, NE. and Kurt Schneider of Columbus, NE.; his siblings, Paul, John (Kathy), Lucille Erickson and Linda Luce; and his sisters-in-law, Karla Kampbell and Vivian Kampbell. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (340 N Miller St, Hay Springs, NE 69347).
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Camp Norwesca at Chadron NE. or to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
