He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaylord R. Runkle and Ardis Shelito Runkle; his siblings, Allan Runkle and Janet (Reginald Draheim); and his father-in-law Jimmy Johnson.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Runkle (Johnson); his children, Mike Runkle (Tricia), Brian Runkle (Lindsey) and Nate Marcy (Jada); his grandchildren, Clayton, Carrie, Lane, Dawn, Emma Runkle, Theo, Jalei and Mason Marcy; his sister Judith Runkle; his mother-in-law Virginia Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Marvin Johnson (Cheri), Bob Johnson (Donna), Rita Peters (Wayne) and Donna Brice (Rick). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
