With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Esther Louise Reed of Hebron, Nebraska, who passed away on April 16, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John Stelling and Irene Stelling (Snodgrass); her daughter Sherry Watson; her granddaughter Ashley Renee'; the father of her children Charles Watson; her siblings, John Franklin Stelling and Etta Herfel; her brother-in-law Carl Herfel; her sister Bethel Holle; and her brother-in-law Denny Holle.

She is survived by : her former life partner Charles Watson; her sons, Gary Charles (Teresa) of Hebron, NE and Danny Fay Watson (Heather) of Fairbury; her sister Barbara Kolars of McPherson, KS; and her daughters, Charlene Engelman (Levi) of Wakefield, KS and Mary Watson of St. Joseph, MO. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren & their spouses, 12 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and numerous other family members & friends.

A memorial service was held on Monday, April 22nd 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Gerdes-Meyer Funeral Home (2414 H St, Fairbury, NE 68352).
