She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Lavicky and Roslyn Lavicky (Pelan); her husband Raymond Duffek; and her siblings, Alvoid, Marvin Lavicky and Beverly Straka.
She is survived by: her children, Al Pernicek of Lincoln and Ramona Mitchell (William) of Pawnee City; and her grandchildren, Nathaniel, Corren, Nicole, Rebecca and Amber. She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, and 4 great great grandchildren.
