He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Asche and Olinda Asche (Evers); his in-laws, Paul and Alvina Krueger; his sisters, Shirley Bodtke (Melvin) and Marilyn Shinn (Everett); his nephew Terry Shinn; his sister-in-law Ann Krueger; and his grandson Hayden McCoy.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Krueger of Paul's Lutheran Church; his children, David Asche (Susan) of Hebron and Diane McCoy (Tim) of Hickman; his grandchildren, Cameron Asche (Sydney) of Lincoln, Marissa Kugel (Kyle) of Hebron, Colton McCoy of Lincoln and Jenna McCoy of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Jack, Beau Asche and Brexton Kugel; his nephews, Dennis Bodtke (Sally), Duane Bodtke and Gary Shinn (Cyndi); his niece-in-law Becky Shinn; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Krueger, Sharon Krueger, Dean Krueger (Linda) and Travis Wiegert (Tish).
He volunteered many hours at the church and at Things & Stuff which resulted in him & Eileen to receive the Thayer County Health Services Foundation Volunteer of the Year Award in 2016.
