Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur William and Hazel B. Gibbons (Henry); her husband Theodore H. Nikont; and her sons, Raymond L. Nikont and David A. Nikont.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Nikont (Suzanne) of El Paso, TX and Diana Dempsey of Colorado Springs, CO; and her sister Alice Blount of Pea Ridge, AR.. She is also survived by her 4 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
