He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne Shaver and Opha Shaver; and his granddaughter Brittany Shaver. He is survived by: his daughter Penny Wickham (John); his grandson Dylan Wickham; his daughter Sonja Bruhn (Clint); his grandchildren, Curtiss, Austin and Morgan; his daughter Kim Warner (Marc Veldhuizen); his grandchildren, Brookelynn and Ariel Warner; his close friend Teresa Nelson; his brother Douglas Shaver (Susan); his nephews, Jeff (Mark Tylutki) and Scott Shaver (Kelsey); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Beckett, Milo and Wrenley; his sibling's child Leslie Shaver; and also, Chris Nelson (Emily) and Cooper Nelson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home (321 Shoshone Ave, Hemingford, NE 69348). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the United Methodist Church (619 Custer St, Hemingford, NE 69348).
A memorial fund has been set up for Bruce at Security First Bank.
