With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol E. Wacker of Hemingford, Nebraska, who passed away on May 8, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandson Chance Decker. She is survived by : her parents, Dr. John J. Ruffing Jr. and Patricia Ruffing (Beehler); her husband Richard Wacker of Hemingford, NE.; and her grandchildren, Matthew, Maysyn Sorensen, Isabelle, Abigail Decker, Landon, Brody and Ember Gentleman.

Visitation was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bates-Gould Funeral Home (321 Shoshone Ave, Hemingford, NE 69348). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 14th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church (321 Shoshone Ave, Hemingford, NE 69348).
