We announce the death of Donald Richard Hunter (Hemingford, Nebraska), who passed away on September 18, 2026, at the age of 72. Donald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard D. Hunter and Dorothy K. Hunter (Breckner); his wife Sherry; his brother Robert Hunter; and his father-in-law Dallas Dufek.

He is survived by: his siblings, Gary Hunter (Sandra), David Hunter, Susan Reams (Stephen) and Anne Smith (Arthur); and his mother-in-law Donna Dufek.
