She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius C. Peters and Sarah Peters (Thieszen); her brothers, Chris, Abe, Jake and Gus; her husband Maurice Janzen; and her daughter-in-law Nancy Janzen.

She is survived by: her children, Jane Schmidt (Mike) of North Newton, Kan., Paul Janzen (Audrey) of Henderson and Barry Janzen (Cindy) of Longmont, Colo.; her grandchildren, Kara Robben (Daniel) of Seattle, Craig Epp (Katie) of Elkhorn, Kiley Escamilla (Ryan) of Lincoln, Kimberly Keys (Scott) of Lincoln, Wade Janzen (Jaydon) of Henderson, Carisa Janzen of Golden, Drew Janzen (Julia) of Minneapolis and Alex Janzen of Basalt; and her siblings-in-law, Jean Janzen of Loveland, Elvera Peters of Freeman and Myron Friesen (Arlyce) of Henderson. She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
