He is survived by: his mother Gay Boardman (Barth) of Fullerton, Nebraska.; his wife Mary of Henderson; his daughters, Andrea Boardman Fisher (Jesse) of Cedar Grove, NC and Samantha Pederson (Kole); his grandson Jet of Henderson; his sister Yvonne Van Wechel (Dustin) of Colorado Springs, CO; his nephew Brandon Boardman of Henderson; his niece Megan Clear (Christian); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maddox and Eli; and his brother-in-law Bob Walker of Clinton, MO.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family will be directing any memorials to Henderson Health Care as well as a Rick Boardman Memorial Fund being established by the family to support families of fallen pilots.
