With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rick L. Vaught of Henderson, Nebraska, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, David C. Vaught and Beverly F. Vaught (Ohnesorge); his parents-in-law, Alvin and Margaret Zastrow; and his brother Michael Vaught.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl Vaught of Henderson; his daughter Chelsea Vaught of Henderson; and his siblings, David K. Vaught (Virginia) of Libby, Montana, Nancy Friesen (Curt) of Henderson, Brad Vaught (Kimberly) of Grand Island, NE, Kevin Vaught (Kimberly) of Aurora, NE and J. Todd Vaught (Chris) of Aurora. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Bethesda Mennonite Church (930 16th St, Henderson, NE 68371). A burial will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Zastrow Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers or plants, memorials may be directed to the Bethesda Mennonite Church or the Zastrow Cemetery.
