He was predeceased by : his parents, Don Boehr and Laura Boehr (Friesen). He is survived by : his wife Karren Boehr of Henderson; his children, Gretchen Bergen (Keith) of Granby, Colo., Greg Boehr of McCool and Mindy Boehr (Aaron Staser) of Seattle; his grandchildren, Jayden and Henry Bergen of Boulder; his children, Connor, Kori Boehr of Henderson, Nolan, Allie Boehr of Henderson, Adelyn, Elin and Fredrick Staser of Seattle; and his siblings, Vivian Pereboom (Bill) of Denver, Stuart Boehr of Minneapolis, Laura Jane Steingard (Dale) of Henderson, Doris Miller of Goshen, Ind. and Brenda Srof (Jody) of Kalamazoo, Mich.. He is also survived by his family, friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Metz Mortuary. A memorial service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Monroe Evangelical Free Church (1001 W 18 Rd, Phillips, NE 68865).

Memorials may be directed to Swan Lake Christian Camp in Viborg, SD or to Monroe Evangelical Free Church.
