She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Nickerson and Pearl Nickerson (Nelson); and her siblings, Gerald, Bud, Dorothy Jean, Pam and Opal.

She is survived by: her husband Mason of Superior; and her sons, David Ely (Rosanna Walter) of Broomfield and Jeffrey Ely of Omaha. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
