He was predeceased by: his father Glen Richards; his grandparents, Gene, Patricia Bunsen Lehman, Glen "Barney" and Gladys Richards (Best); his aunt Janet Richards; and his uncles, Steve Bunsen and Kenneth Way.
He is survived by: his mother Loretta Richards (Bunsen) of Lincoln, NE; his stepdaughter Stella Tollefsen; his wife Becca Richards; his daughter Ophelia; his sister Suzanne Nantkes of Lincoln, NE; his parents-in-law, John and Rhonda Kogl of Holdrege, NE; his sister-in-law Kristen Friedrichsen of Elkhorn, NE; and his aunts and uncles, Junior, Judy Brown of Johnson Lake, NE, Joyce Way of Smithfield, NE, Tom and Janis Olesen of Smithfield, NE. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews; as well as many friends.
Memorials may be given to Shane's Children's Educational Fund or the family.
