With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon A. Zimmerman of Hickman, Nebraska, who passed away on October 8, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Schmidt and Pauline Schmidt (Fine); her son Larry; and her brothers, Roger and Dennis.
She is survived by: her husband Melvin Zimmerman of Hickman; her children, Terry Zimmerman (Gail), Lori Benesch (Mike), Dan Zimmerman (Lezli) and Scott Zimmerman (Tabi); her grandchildren, Ayrianne Wonderlich (John), Brad Benesch (Kelly), Andy Benesch, Kaden Zimmerman, Kelby Zimmerman, Gavin Zimmerman and Alex Zimmerman; her great grandchildren, Carter Benesch, Brooklyn Benesch, Makenna Benesch, Lyra Wonderlich, Lincoln Wonderlich and Elliot Wonderlich; and her sister Cindy Bartholomew (Mark). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Butherus, Maser & Love Funeral Home - Hickman (211 E 1st St, Hickman, NE 68372). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hills Elca Church (6901 Panama Rd, Hickman, NE 68372).
