He was predeceased by: his parents, John Kruse and Rose Kruse (Casper); his siblings, Don, Gary, Bruce and Janie; his son-in-law Denny Danielson; and his grandson Isaac Danielson.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Fritson; his daughters, Julie Ehlers (Doug) of Minden, NE, Judy Danielson of York, NE and Janel Sunderland of Omaha, NE; his grandchildren, Samantha Bergstrom (Chad), Connor Johnson, Creed Ehlers, Drew Danielson (Kasey), Ty Danielson, Bryce Danielson, Brady Danielson, Emily Sunderland (Justin) and Megan Sunderland; his stepgrandchildren, Derek Ehlers (Julie) and Jordan Ohlrich (Casey); his great grandchildren, Liam, Quinn, Remi Bergstrom, Kamrey and Kortlyn Danielson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Violet, Myles Ehlers and Edna Ohlrich; his brother Tom Kruse (Deb); and his sisters-in-law, Ardie Kruse and Sheryl Kruse. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Craig Funeral Home - Jelden Chapel (212 Block Ave, Hildreth, NE 68947). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church - Hildreth (502 Sanders Ave, Hildreth, NE 68947).
