We announce the death of Bonna Walker of Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on August 9, 2026, at the age of 89. Bonna will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Howell and Clara Howell (Keen); her husband Lyle "Ed" Walker; and her siblings, Ray Howell (Joy), Gary Howell (Delores), Viola "Evelyn" Haag (Alfred) and Wavalee Couse (Maurice).
She is survived by: her sons, Greg Walker (Jean) of Holdrege, Doug Walker (Sheila) of Aurora, Colorado, Rick Walker of Alma, Nebraska and Kevin Walker (Mindy) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Kandis Tonsager (Wayne), Tiffany Rupp (Shawn), Braden Walker, Lindsey Winkler (Chris), Megan Hilsendager (Jeremy), Allie Hahne (Justin), Rachel Walker and Lyndee Walker. She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren; along with nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Bonna's honor and kindly suggested to the family for future designation.
