Bruce leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Bruce’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Bruce will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard L. Peterson and Wilma Peterson; and his wife Cindy Peterson. He is survived by: his daughters, Michelle Peterson of Kearney and Allison Palik (Aaron) of Seward; his grandchild Summer Palik; his brothers, Doug Peterson (Chris) of Colorado Springs, Scott Peterson (Judy) of Lincoln and Greg Peterson of Omaha; and his brother-in-law Randy (Jennifer) of Axtell. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A burial will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at the Prairie Home Cemetery (2221 18th Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
