He is survived by: his mother Keron Bailey (Crawford) of Hastings, Nebraska; his wife Janet Michele Damgaard of Holdrege; his children, Jacob Edward of Omaha, Nebraska, Jillian XiuFan of Holdrege and Jenica Johnston (Tyler) of Omaha; his siblings, Kent Bailey (Yvonne) of York, Nebraska, Noel Bailey (Patty) of Lincoln, Nebraska and Dani Fusco (Steve) of Lincoln; his parents-in-law, Marshall and Patty Damgaard of Minden; and his siblings-in-law, Paul Damgaard (Alimah) of Bellemont, Arizona and Erin Wise (Dave) of Holdrege. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial has been established in Chad's honor and are kindly suggested to the American Heart Association, the Alzheimer's Association, or to Holt International.
