He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Buettner and Jeanette Buettner (Kinnamon); and his sister Judy Cox. He is survived by: his wife Teresa Buettner of Holdrege; his stepchildren, Cody Hashman (Taylor) of Buffalo and Jennifer Brown (Christopher) of Cedar Rapids, Iowa; his grandchildren, Bobby Mac Hashman, Henry and Emilia Brown; his siblings, Michael Buettner of Holdrege, Jeff Buettner (Stacy) of Holdrege, Susan Langan (Jack) of Omaha, Nebraska and Kathy Osborn (Greg) of Kearney; his parents-in-law, Richard and Donna Debban of Waverly, Iowa; and his siblings-in-law, Tim Debban (Melanie) of Anderson, Texas, Dawn Rottink (Dennis) of Clarksville, Iowa, Daren Debban (Kate) of Medford, Wisconsin and Tiffiny Christensen (Jason) of Waterloo, Iowa. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Chris' honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
