He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Sr. Klein and Christina Klein (Barnes); and his siblings, Rex Klein, Michael Klein, Norman Klein Jr., Sandra Taylor and Theresa Bernstrauch.

He is survived by: his daughter Wendy Buhr (Nathan) of Hastings, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Payden Buhr and Brooklynn Buhr of Hastings; and his siblings, Steve Klein (Denise) of Holdrege, Terry Klein of Holdrege and Cindy Klein of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
