He is survived by: his wife Novita Negley of Holdrege; his son Josiah Negley of Yankton; his stepson Dustin Stewart of Atlanta, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Hanna, Carly, Rhett Stewart, Trenten, Axl Negley, Maya and Abcde Negley; his sisters, Marilyn Massey of Lake City, Florida and Sandra Trapp of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; and his siblings-in-law, James (Liane Mooney) of Holdrege, Leonard Mooney (Jane) of Holdrege, Peggy Hickman of Minden and Roberta Negley of York, Nebraska. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Trinity Evangelical Free Church (613 18th Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
