He was predeceased by: his parents, Eric Collin and Pearl Collin (Epping); his wife Irene Ethel Eloise Anderson; his great grandchild Jackson Theodore Collin; his sister Theone Ericson; and his sons-in-law, Jerrold Schroeder and Steve DeBoer.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia (Ginn), Nancy Schroeder of Sylvania, Ohio, Ginn Parks (Ron) of Lincoln, Nebraska, Sylvia DeBoer of Hastings, Nebraska and Ted Collin (Cindy) of Loomis; and his grandchildren, Krista Wales, Emily LaPoint (Rudy), Andrew DeBoer (Allissa), Sean Parks (Elizabeth), Mark DeBoer, Benjamin Collin (Logann), Amber Kenney (Ethan) and April Edgren (Robert).
A memorial has been established in Franz's honor and kindly suggested to Christian Homes Care Community.
