He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence J. Lahowetz and Elvine J. Jensen Lahowetz (Jensen); his siblings, Thomas, James Lahowetz, Joanne Rankin and Mary Catherine Truesdell; and his brother-in-law Dale Dodson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Lahowetz of Holdrege; his children, Jennifer Lahowetz of Austin Texas and Chelsie Heinz (Trent); his grandchildren, Eli and Emma of Holdrege; his sister Clare Wollenberg (Gene) of Lincoln; and his siblings-in-law, Joann Slater (Jerry) of Holdrege and Jerry Dodson (Connie) of Holdrege. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Calvary Lutheran Church (1419 East Ave, Holdrege, NE 68949).
A memorial has been established in Larry's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
