He was predeceased by : his parents, Herman Swanson and Martha Swanson (Paulsen); his son Bill Swanson; his siblings, Dorothy Chingren (Dale) and Arden Swanson (Delores); and his sister-in-law Mildred Swanson.
He is survived by : his wife Irma Swanson of Holdrege; his children, Mike Swanson of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Martha Swanson of Loomis, Lynn Swanson of Holdrege and Lane Swanson of Holdrege; and his brother Lowell Swanson of Sidney, Nebraska. He is also survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
