She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Pitkin and Georgia "Jo" Pitkin (Hansen); and her brother John Pitkin. She is survived by: her husband Donn Black of Holdrege; her children, Joe Black (Amy) of Hastings, Nebraska and Sarah DeWald (Nate) of Holdrege; her grandchildren, Lily, Henry Black of Hastings, Caleb, Leah and Isaac of Holdrege; her brothers, Steve Pitkin of Kearney, Nebraska, Terry Pitkin (Julie) of Scottsbluff, Nebraska and Robert Pitkin (Christie) of Callaway; and her siblings-in-law, Deb Pitkin of Cody, Nebraska, Denise Panter (Joel) of Holdrege and Dale Black (Donna) of Grand Island, Nebraska. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews.
