It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lorene L. Johnson of Holdrege, Nebraska, who passed away on February 2, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lacey and Hattie Lacey (Williams); her husband Harold Leslie Johnson; her daughter Rebecca Opfer; her daughter-in-law Patti Johnson; her great grandchild Jordan Zickefoose; and her siblings, Robert Aldridge (Gladys), Walter Lacey (Reva), Donald Lacey, Lucille Stokke (Robert) and Louise Cowle (William).
She is survived by: her children, Larry Johnson of Omaha, Nebraska and Nancy Hansen (Andy) of Elm Creek, Nebraska; and her grandchildren, Christina Wiese (Mark Kershaw), Terry Hansen (Amy), Tiffany Johnson, Kimberly Peterson (Ryan), Jamie Johnson (Tamara), Nate Opfer (Stephanie), Ian Opfer (Lexi), Matt Opfer and Isaac Opfer. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Lorene's honor, and kindly suggested for later designation.
