Oertle; wife: Shirley Ann Harding; daughters: Angela Houser and Annette Oertle; grandchildren: Brandon Houser (Brandie McConnell), Felicia Hein, Dillon Houser, Rachel Lounsbury, and Matthew Lounsbury (Katie); great-grandchildren: Eden Houser, Bayn Houser, Peyton Hein, Isabella Lounsbury, Samuel Lounsbury, Magnolia Lounsbury, and baby Lounsbury; brothers: Bernard Dean Oertle, Eugene (Verla) Karsten, and Charlie (Carole) Oertle; sisters-in-law: Helen Oertle and Marilyn Wolzen; and nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Nelson-Bauer Funeral Home (401 Burlington St, Holdrege, NE 68949). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
A memorial has been established in Maynard's honor to the family for future designation.
