She is survived by: her parents, Dale Brand and Marlys Brand (Gorman) of Oxford; her husband Bart Weaver of Holdrege; her children, Andrew Vaughn (Kasey) of Nelson, Nebraska, Heidi Fetters (Jared) of Loomis, Nebraska, Brandin Weaver (Madison) of Axtell, Nebraska, Riley Weaver (Shawna) of Funk, Nebraska and Chelsie Weaver (Tova) of Minden, Nebraska; her siblings, Craig Brand of Oxford, Eric Brand (Kelli) of Oxford and Staci Stritt (Matthew) of Hastings, Nebraska; her parents-in-law, Max and Pam Weaver of Minden; and her brothers-in-law, Bret Weaver (Lynette) of Axtell and Bert Weaver (Suzanne) of Hastings. She is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
A memorial has been established in Melinda's honor, and kindly suggested to the family for later designation.
