She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval E. Gitt and Betty Jane Gitt (Knapp). She is survived by: her husband Bob Meade of Holdrege; her children, Robyn Kapperman (Dennis) of Laramie, Wyoming, Allyn Hampton of Holdrege, Jamie Meade of Holdrege and Robert Meade (Sandy) of Kearney, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Jenna, Jackielenn, Jesse, Clayton, Connie, Colton, Carely, Kikiana, Kian and Kidoh; her great grandchildren, Tilly, Grayson and Emmerson; her siblings, Mikel Gitt of Holdrege and Cindy Gitt of Holdrege; and her siblings-in-law, Randall Meade of Franklin, Neil Meade of Franklin and Sandra Kay Schmidt (Gene) of Franklin, Nebraska. She is also survived by many other family members, including numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A memorial has been established in Nancy's honor and kindly suggested to the Nebraska Children's Home Society in Omaha, Nebraska.
