He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Bergskoog and Della Bergskoog (Vandike); his wife Leola M. Frerichs; his mother-in-law Pope (Rosina Frerichs); his stepfather-in-law John Grube; his sister Sandra Bergskoog; and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Frerichs and Lela Frerichs.
He is survived by: his children, Keri Bennett (Kevin) of Kearney, Nebraska and Chris Bergskoog of Holdrege; and his siblings-in-law, Clyde Frerichs of Franklin, Nebraska and Charleen Frerichs of Kearney.
A memorial has been established in his memory and will be designated at a later date.
