He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E. Roush and Jeanne M. Roush (Nolan); his sons, Tom Roush and Troy Roush (Jackie); and his siblings, Patricia Whitmore, Vernon "Bud" Roush and Donnie Veach.

He is survived by: his wife Linda Lee; his children, Rhonda Thill (Chris), Gina Greubel (Jeff), Jody Jones (Jeremy) and Jeremy Roush; his siblings, Jim Roush (Valerie), Roger Veach (Toni), Steve Roush (Donna) and Mary Cris Gordon; and his brother-in-law Jim Whitmore (Fina). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A memorial has been established in Ron's honor, and kindly suggested to the Southeast Polk High School.
