With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Kent A Rasmussen of Homer, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 12, 2025 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Wade and Margaret Louise Rasmussen (Gotch); his wife Rosie; and his brothers, Russell and David.
He is survived by: his sister Rita Peterson (Chuck); his sisters-in-law, Eileen Rasmussen (Russell) and Della Rasmussen (David); his stepdaughters, Kristi Knous (Lauren) and Kelli Bloom (Aaron); his grandchildren, Abbey Knous (Michael Christopherson), Jonah Knous, Alison Bloom and Emily Bloom; and his great grandchildren, Aiden Knous Ngugi, Lucas and Logan Christopherson. He is also survived by great-granddaughter due in October; and numerous nieces and nephews.
