With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dean Skokan of Hooper, Nebraska, born in Yankton, South Dakota, who passed away on May 22, 2026 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Skokan, and Marie Skokan, Sr. (May). He is survived by: his wife Nancy Skokan of Hooper, NE; and his brothers, Don Skokan (Karen) of Denton, TX and Bob Skokan (Julie) of Aberdeen, WA. He is also survived by nieces; a great niece and a great nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Masonic-Eastern Star Home for Children.
