She is survived by: her husband Bob Gates of Hooper; her children, Jessica Raasch (Chris) of Fremont, Nathan Gates (Melissa) of Fremont, Libby Hanzel (Ben) of Grand Island and Matt Gates (Taylor) of Hooper; her brother Terry Reeg of Fremont; and her grandchildren, Alexis, Ava, Elsie, Everett, Melany, Braxton, Barrett, Rielyn, Owyn, Eden, Ezra and Eli.
A memorial has been established with the intent to support community causes near and dear to Phyllis's heart.
