We are sad to announce that on September 22, 2025, at the age of 87, Billie Dee Baumert of Howells, Nebraska passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Michael Loftus and Wilma Loftus (Barrett); her husband George; her great grandchild Nekcol Locken; and her daughter-in-law Julie Baumert.
She is survived by: her children, Mike Baumert of Gillette, WY, Dr. Dave Baumert of Howells, Sue Miller (Jim) of North Platte, Andy Baumert of Omaha, Jerome Baumert (Karen) of Howells, Kaye Stuchl (Larry) of Columbus and Christa Monti (Dale) of Bennington; her sister Virginia "Gin" Crawford of Fairfield, CA; and her brother-in-law Ron Baumert (Janice) of Howells. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way; 2 great-great-grandchildren; 3 nieces and 4 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Howells Community Catholic School Capital Campaign or Ss.
