She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Lewis and Ethel Lewis (Howard); her husband Jerry; and her siblings, Paul, Donald, Harlan, Gary, Tom Lewis, Rose Marie Rears, Betty Whitfield and Martha Lewis.
She is survived by: her children, Keith Mehlin (Cathy) of Logan, IA, Jerry "Mike" Mehlin of Omaha, NE, Kerry Mehlin (Michele) of Grand Island, NE and Lisa Mehlin of Omaha, NE. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and a lifetime of students, friends.
